Studio Costae is a project by Sam Coates, the acclaimed Kyiv-based, Manchester born, Berlin-rooted producer and sound artist. With more than a decade of experience across multiple disciplines, Coates has honed a sonic aesthetic as evocative as it is unique. This has made him an essential electronic artist of our time. Releasing records that move gracefully between techno, IDM and avant-garde. At Studio Costae, established in 2022, he applies his craft to client-facing projects, including music composition and sound design for Switzerland’s leading Department Store Globus.CH, and Berlin’s international fashion brand Enfin Leve. He brings to these projects the same richness of sound and depth of artistry that make him a cult favorite within electronic music.
